Our son is currently enrolled in an everyday pre-school from 9 to 11:30. He is having a great time there and i really like his teacher. Well he has two teachers, one who is the "main" teacher i guess you can say and i think the other girl is like an assistant or something. She so young, like fresh out of school herself . I think that this assistant teacher is really an interpreter for the Hispanic children and their parents. That bugs me. I really don't know why you'd put children in a class with all English speaking students and none of them are speaking English......is my monthly tuition paying for this interpreter??? Are the English speaking students being held back in progress? I just think that if the children are not able to speak the language then they should have their own class that can concentrate on everything they need to know, English being the first........whats the point of any of the things i've just mentioned.? Either way everything gets printed in Spanish on the back of of the English paper. So why am i paying for an interpreter? My son could've skipped pre school but his birthday has kept him from entering kindergarten. I've been told by his teacher that he is ahead.....so im hoping he doesn't get bored in kindergarten because the work isn't challenging enough. I guess im just thinking too far ahead
