How many of you military mommies actually take time out for yourself and visit a spa?
If so share how many times per week/month and tips on the best messages for others who have never been to a spa.

I love taking time out to hit the spa! I think it's important for us to take the time and effort to pamper ourselves. I know our men love us, but it is too easy for things to get overlooked in the bigger picture.
I only go once every few months or as a reward for an acomplishment (like reaching a target weight). Advice wise, get recommendations from local friends and check for websites for responses. YP.com usually has a place where people can comment on places.
Let the person giving you the massage that it is your first time. Each place is different, I have been to one that uses an oil that helps release toxins in your muscles and the local one I go to now does not. Think of how hard your spouse has pressed when giving a massage and go from there. I started at a medium pressure with my current girl and have moved up once I learned that I could handle her harder massage.
If something hurts or does not feel right, let them know. And you do not have to strip to your birthday suit:)
When Mommy is happy, everyone is happy!!!
