who's with me! I have done a pretty good job of kicking the t.v. Except on Tuesday's for teen mom but hey that's just one night.

Everybody's so concerned with their bodies how about we make sure we get some brain exercise too?
Anyway if you want to join in here are the rules,

#1. no childrens books- that would be cheating lol. Young adult i guess is okay lol but we are grown women so let's try to keep it grown up lol.

#2. as far as documentation goes that's up to you I think i am going to journal it so if you want to post your progress and share with everyone you can share the link to write about the book your working on or finished in my journal or others journals who have partaken in this challenge. Or post here if you like.

(I am kinda making these rules up as i go lol)

#3. if you have to read for college that counts but I think textbooks are pushing it. I think they need to be actual stories.

Anyway that's it for now if you can think of anything feel free to share!

Right now i am reading cleopatra

Did you mean by 2012? Because I don't think anybody could read 50 in the rest of this month.

I like kids books :(... especially since my DD will be reading more and more chapter books and I want to read them before she does. Maybe If I read 2 or 3 juvie books they could count as 1 'grown up' book?

Can it be whatever we want to read then including young adult?

I hate that 'young adult' is looked down on as an adult reading option. Adults write them.  They are no different than 'adult' books aside from the characters are teens and young adults.  I only write in the young adult genre and I'm a month shy of being 32 years old.  Sorry I just find that very offensive.

Also you say no text books but what about nonfiction?

Or own all of the HP books in American and British version hardcover plus paperback LOL

Romeo and Juliet is  technically young adult.  It certainly isn't a 'simple kid' read.
