Are you a recent or not so recent immigrant to this great state? Where did you come from? Do you like where you live now better?
Me I moved to Palmyra NJ almost 3 years ago from NE philadelphia. But I grew up in Bensalem, and Palmyra is much more of the type of living and neighborhoods that I'm use to growing up.
I would swear for YEARS i'd never move to jersey , but now Im thankful I did!

I moved to Bergen County 10 years ago. I am from Brooklyn. I did a short stint in Ohio (6 years) but came back to NY b/c I really missed it! I do like where I live, although sometimes I miss the convenience of Brooklyn (walking, public transportation, stores on every corner).
This made me LOL!

I was born and raise in Northeast Philadelphia (juniata park section) and I really love living there because all my friend and family were there but I never thought I would live in NJ. I have always visit the Jersey shore but I could not image myself living here because I was so use to living in Philly and being close to my family but then where I live started to change really bad an crime was getting bad so I had to decide what to do then one day I meet my husband and he was from NJ and would always take me on these roads trip around NJ. I saw the different side of NJ and fall in love with it. So when we deiced to move in with each other I decied to move here because it's much safer then where I was living. I have been living here for about 3 years and I don't miss Philly one bit.

My husband is from the area we live in and I moved here to be with him. We tried living in my hometown for about a year but wanted to buy a house after our son was born and nothing was affordable in my hometown...so about 3 years ago we packed up and moved here.
It's over an hour to where my family lives and I really miss being able to just visit them but I kinda like living here.

I am from Long Isalnd. I moved to Bergen County in 1998. Love it here. I miss my family, but love living here.
