My daughter just hacked off half of her hair so now it's shoulder length on one side I am totally crying! She then said to me "It's no big deal Mom- I hvae plenty of hair" ! RAAWR!
I'm goign to ask my cousin if she can bring her scissors to thanksgiving tomorrow to fix it :-( She has a salon in Nutley (The Pink Comb) But I dont' want to drive all the way down there right now.
Can you believe it!?
ANyoen ever have their daughters do this!?
I don't have any daughters but my oldest niece Sydney cut her sister's (Madison) hair. Lucky Madison has super curly hair so you can't tell but Sydney got in big trouble for sneaking the scissors and cutting her sister's hair.
My cousin was able to kind of layer it up front so it doesnt' look toob ad lol. Its' just a bit shorter which makes me sad :-(
When my oldest was about 8, she rolled a comb up in her bangs and got it hopelessly stuck. We were on a bus trip into Manhattan to see Riverdance and I had to cut it out of her hair with a pair of scissors from a mini pocket knife. She is a competitive dancer and we had just gotten her bangs grown out long enough to easily pull back into a bun, so I was REALLY pissed.
My 2 year old had a pair of child safety scissors that she was practicing cutting paper with and I stopped her just in time from trying to hack off some of her hair. I think this is just not that uncommon with kids. Very poor impulse control.
She is 4. And would be the LAST kid on earth I would think would do this. She loves long hair.. She CHERISHES her hair! In our culture girls just don't cut their hair at all. So I was in complete SHOCK when she took scissors to her head!!! My cousin did a good job fixing it up.. And it still goes past her shoulders.. But that is short for us :-( So I'm totally upset about it!
Quoting ThinkPink23:
