Valentines

Do your kids (or you) do them for their school/preschool classes? Do you send anything else besides the little card?

for my daughter's dance class...i made little treat boxes, and filled them with candy.  For each holiday i make something for her dance/gymnastics class.

I am just sending little valentine cards. There is a peanut allergy in her preschool so no one is aloud to bring anything that is made with nuts or in a place that may have nuts in it so cards are about the safest thing I can do.

Yes, we are supposed to have a party tomorrow morning. DD picked out Tinkerbell cards (I wanted Disney Princess, but apparently the choice isn't mine lol). I'm making little treat bags for all the kids- candy, pencils, erasers, stickers.  I did this for Halloween, thinking I was being Supermom and every other parent brought treat bags as well, thank God I didn't just bring a bag of candy!  We have to make sugar cookies today in case the party is still on. Another mother stole the cupcakes out from under me. I'm furious! I always make the cupcakes for school parties....I need to get a hobby.

I usually just send a few chocolate Kisses. I have also baked cookies and cupcakes. I have no time to go all out. The kids come home with tons of little bags and trinkets. Actually, I hate the trinkets and end up throwing them out! LOL! I will just do cards for the kids this year b/c I can't get out to get a bag of chocolates (unless DH picks them up on the way home from work this afternoon when he stops for milk). I am not even sure there will be school tomorrow, so we'll do the cards today and see what happens, I guess.

I got Nadia Disney Princess Valentines and they come with glitter temporary tattoos to give with teh cards.. So I thought they were neat :-)
