My husband is a mushy hopeless romance type of person so yes, he usually is very into the day.  This year with Elena he agreed to take it down a notch haha

I always go go to my daughter's school and bring her a stuffed animal during class and a Valentine, so I'll do that again and I leave candy on the beds of my boys.

Dh and I keep it pretty simple, but we are going to a bed and breakfast this weekend while my exH is in town with the kids.

Of course. I also won't let him get away with calling it a Hallmark holiday. Flowers are a given ( not a single gas station rose), no candy ( I won't eat it), but chocolate bath products, dinner out ( a place we have to dress up), got cut outfit from White House/Black market, Coach purse and wallet, and a nice rose gold diamond necklace.
