It is air conditioned inside, but not luxury quality. There is a LOT of climbing and walking and tight spaces. I don't know how long the one day visits last, we have only gone for boy scouts, where they sleep on the ship and are there overnight. The tour we got was about 2 hours long, so I'd guess about that long.

Yup - this. We were there for New Years Eve (to see the fireworks) & it was super crowed & hard to move around but pretty cool

Do they give you a chance to stop and really see things or do they rush it? u have to do a tour right? you cant just wonder on your own?

I think they have both guided tours and self guided tours. The guided tour is long enough to see lots of stuff but you can't really linger. Go to their website or call them. Either way, it is really a cool experience. My grandpa was a crew member during Korea and it was really emotional for me to walk in his footsteps, so to speak.
