So, A is not an athelete. He does the martial arts, but it's not really something that gets him going enough to help keep his weight down. And he's starting to get a little chunky (84lbs and 54inches, but his tummy, well...). So I need ideas to get him active. He is really not a good athelete, and I'm not kidding. He sucks at soccer even tho he plays (I thin this is his last season). He REFUSES to ride a bike (although Jeff is going to take him this weekend by himself to the school parking lot to see if we can get him to ride). I'm at a loss as to what to do with him. We started changing his diet, b/c I"m afraid he's going to get fat! What do I do???

Family walks ( though I know it's getting cold now ). Can you join a swim club.. so he could swim in the cold months? Hmmm still thinking...

D is also very inactive ... Mostly my fault bc I don't push him and he's the kind that needs a push. I have no idea what to suggest!

Have you tried any sport besides soccer? Maybe he just isn't into that and would be better at another sport?
