On Dec. 3, 2012 I gave birth to my daughter VERY unexpectedly.
My c-section date was scheduled for 12-12-12, my due date was 12-17-12.
I have a congenital heart defect & have had 3 open heart surgeries throughout life, and am expected to have 4-6 with in the next 2 years so DH and I decided to conceive before those surgeries WITH medical clearence.
Well, on Monday, Dec 3, I got DS on the school bus, did some light housework [Dishes and washing the counter tops with vinegar and water in the kitchen nothing nuts.]
Around 1 pm I wasn't feeling so awesome so I told DH, at 3pm I was going to take a nap on the sofa and to wake me at 5 before he leaves for work so I can get DS off the bus.
Next thing I know I;m in an ambulance. During my nap, I stopped breathing and DH called 9-1-1. They had to emergency deliver my daughter to save her, in order to save me.- I stopped breathing due to too much stress on my heart from the pregnancy. Up until the 3rd trimester I was doing pretty well.
She was born at 6lbs 2 oz 18 1/4 in. She's healthy as can be. I was sent to ICU to recover where I did have 2 episodes of going unconscious from BP dropping.
Her name is Havana-Olivia Pyper Espinosa. H.O.P.E.
I was sent home yesterday. I feel much healthier since delivering. I was informed by both obgyn and cardiologists no more children for us due to how weak my heart has gotten and DH and I totally agree.
Awwww....so glad everyone is well! Congrats! We need pictures of your HOPE!
