happened not too far from me, down in toms river.
all i can think is:
Where the hell were the parents?
Why was there a loaded gun laying around and not locked up?

the 6 year old is in "serious" condition.
i wonder what measures they will take? think DYFS will pay the parents of the 4 year old a visit?

I saw this on the news this morning. If you have to own guns at least be responsible with them....that is the problem.

Has his condition changed? On the news this morning, it said the boy was in stable condition. Just sad:(

This is close to where I live. It's so sad :(

I saw on the news around noon that the boy is now in critical. I just read that "the father of a 6-year-old boy shot in the head by a 4-year-old neighbor in Toms River, said of his son’s condition “It’s not good at all,”"

My son is 4.5, i cant imagine him playing with a gun... even with my supervision.

i wonder what Toms River PD are going to do.
My SIL lives down the street from where it happened =/

Really sad. We have guns in our house but they are out of reach of where my son can get them.
