I wanted to be a mother of 6 and an early elementary school teacher.  Things didn't work out how I planned...I'm the mother of 3 and I work for a medical publishing company.

Funny but I never really wanted to be anything more then a mother and wife, just to stay home, and take care of the house and take care of my husband and care for my kids. I hate and stink at house hold stuff and I could never be a SAHM, I just don't have it in me. I barely made the 9 weeks home in the summer without going crazy, lol. Love my daughter and husband but its not me. I can handle 72 kids behind be but 1 with me all day drives me nutty. I give all SAHM credit, it's the hardest job there is.

I always said that I could never be a SAHM.  I don't have the patience.  However, I recently became a full time work at home mom (thank you, job!) and I'm home ALL DAY with my 2 1/2 month old.  There are days when I wish I would have just put him in daycare.  It's hard getting work done some days.  Also, once my 4 year old comes home from pre-k it's almost impossible to concentrate.

I wanted to be the first female to play for the yankees. Or a dancer. Needless to say a knee injury prevented either of those although I do still dance.

Only in NY can little girls grow up with the dream of playing MLB.... nothing wrong with the dream BTW.

I wanted to be a nurse or a teacher for years, then architect :) I'm a perm. SAHM. The closest I have come to any of that was my NYS EMT for years, then homeschooling my oldest ds for 2 yrs.

I think when I finally enter the real world, I will work as a TA. That way I can have my evenings to drive my kids to practices/games and have summer break off.

i wanted to be a vet.  but i ended up getting side tracked in criminal justice.  now i'm a vet tech, dog trainer, animal cruelty investigator, animal control officer, and a humane society manager.

if you are one of those overly annoying people, who seem to get offended over every little thing, and like to pull out the "judgemental" card....please, do not quote me.  i don't pay attention to stupid and i do not deal with whiners.

get yourself a tissue, grow up, and move on.  and have a great day.  :-)
