Last week, we had a part replaced on our boiler for the total cost of $531.51. I knew that we had a $218 credit so I had hoped when the invoice came they would have applied the credit to the service call. They didn't.
I call them yesterday, explain the situation, and the person that I speak with tells me that the credit can only be applied to oil delivery and not the service call.
Ok, that sucks but whatever.
Today a whole new invoice arrives applying the credit to the service call so now we only owe them $313.
Why didn't the guy I spoke with yesterday know this? It's a good thing I didn't go ahead and pay the bill over the phone yesterday.
