Jillian came home yesterday and as normal later on I had to ask her if she had any paperwork from school. She comes in and hands me a paper and tells me I already know what i'm doing. Well do you really,lol. She tells me all of our classes are picked out for next year but one, we get to pick one elective. The teachers told us we should probably take 1/2 yr (credit) of each Music and Art as we need them to graduate. Ok makes sense to me.
But not to Jillian. In Jillian ADHD mind she decides she taking Naval Science 1 instead. It will help her learn teamwork and self discipline, which she figures will help her thru high school. (we talked about this last year but she never listens and wants to do something with Music so I never thought) While it is a full credit it isn't something she needs to graduate. However she is already taking two classes i 8th grade that count towards HS credits.
