Hello! My name is Jamie. I have lived in the Rochester area for about 3 1/2 years now. I still don't know the area as well as I would like to. Because of that I haven't met many people/moms with the same interests as me. I love my kids, cooking, scrapbooking, reading, drawing, and I recently became vegan so that is a new venture for me.
I did find the Public Market through some old co-workers but that is more of a Summer thing :)

I would check and see if there is a MOPS (Mother's of Preschoolers) near you.
Or call around to Churches and see if any of them offer programs for Moms.
my Church used to have "Moms Morning Out" where we would do a book study, or some themed discussion and the kids would be in the nurseries with "Grandma's" for child care.
We also did fun things where Moms and kids were together.
