A math question

you took a spelling test with 50 questions. you got 7 wrong. what is the % you got wrong.

assuming the test is equal to 100 points every question would be 2 points. so 7 Times 2= 14 , 100-14= 86 if I did the math right. I can divide, multiply, do fractions and percentages but simple adding and subtracting isis really hard.sadly Hannah's the same way.

Your math to that point is correct. However, I need the answer to what % is wrong. I say if you got an 86, that's 86% correct so that meansyou got 14% wrong. But when asked someone else they say the answer is 7% but can't explain why that's the answer. Unless because 7 is half of 14 and the test has 50 questions which is half of 100, but yes, the test is worth 100 points and each quest is worth 2 points.

Thank you everyone for your answers! I'm the one who isn't great at math and I knew the answer immediately, I think others were over thinking it.
