Be selfish?
There are times when I get tired of putting everyone and their needs/wants before my own. No one in this house ever puts me first in everything. I want someone to think of me before they do something, remember important dates, etc.
I'm sorry if this comes off inconsiderate and selfish. There are times when I just want to scream or am just so disappointed because I hope people will put me first...but they never do. One would think that I would learn.
I try not to complain about it too often because well...what good what it do? No one, in this house, really cares so talking about it doesn't do anything.
Meh.

Since no one else will, go spoil yourself!

Vent here and at least get it off your chest. That's what we are here for.
I also dont think self preservation is selfish at all. If you need to do something for you, to make you feel good cause no one else is thinking of you... It isnt selfish. It preserves YOU, so that you ARE able to continue to do for others!
Look at it as the oxygen mask that falls from the ceiling of the airplane. Youve got to put it on you... So you can put it on everyone else who needs you.
Let me know if you want company one morning for pedicure or something girly and fun! 
We can preserve ourselves together!
