For a daycare pot luck dinner. Xavier's room has main dishes.
I would make Xaviers favorite food, but right now he is really into pancakes, Lily loves pasta but another family is bringing homemade mac and cheese. Another family is bringing chicken.

I have a good recipe for basically a pasta dish that tastes like pepperoni pizza. :)

Oh that would be awesome. Lily's room is dessert. I will be baking a cake tonight so I can decorate it tomorrow.

8 ounces rotini pasta
1 pound lean ground beef
1 small onion, diced (you can also add green pepper, but then it is more like lasagna pasta...LOl)
1 (28 ounces or 1 jar) spaghetti sauce
4 ounces sliced pepperoni sausage (I cut into 1/2's)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Oven 350
Cook pasta as per directions.
In medium skillet over medium high heat cook beef with onion til brown. Drain off fat. Combine meat/onion mixture with sauce, pepperoni and pasta.
Pour into 9x13 dish
Top with Motz cheese
Bake in oven for 30 minutes or until cheese has browned.

This dish is always popular with little kids at my house. Ive made it for holidays and group gatherings. It is good comforting pizza pasta. YUMMY!!!

LOL! Nadir LOVES pancakes for lunch at daycare. I had meant to make some so I could freeze them but I never got around to it. I send them in with a container of syrup and then he dips the pancakes in and eats them. It's the only thing he'll eat there these days.

Bring pancakes and syrup.

My rice even boil in bag does not turn out well. I follow the directions. I also bought a rice cooker with a measuring cup and fill water to the line turn it on. It turns off when done, still didn't turn out right.
