it doesn't get easier.....

I know everyone says it gets easier with time, but it doesn't.

I saw John at the fire house when I stopped to get Alex, and he tells me he was late leaving beacause my Uncle stopped by.

I stared at him and replied with "You lost me on that one."

Gary stopped by with a project for me.

Oh, yeah Uncle Gary moved back in the area..... Gary is really my Moms cousin, but he was always Uncle.

John doesn't realize his snag, although given my reaction he may have put the pieces together. Tomorrow is the 2 yr. I still hurt like it was yesterday.

I agree, it really doesn't get any easier. My parents are gone over 12 yrs and I still miss them horribly and something will come up and my first thought is "I need to tell mama this" then I remember I can't tell her and it hurts.

I try my best not to think about my grandmom (Bryan) on the "mother side family".
I CRY & CRY like a real baby for hours if must.

IMO, with me getting tattoos that reminds me of my grandparents I might be a little happier.

Your right. It doesn't get easier, you'll always miss them or hurt you're just able to keep going and the going is what gets easier. Not the missing.

Thursday night was rough because of John's slip up with Uncle Gary coming over (and he's been in VA until the last week... so his stopping by threw me for a loop).

Friday, I was good..... then again, I was busy......
