Ok so ever since we've moved here, I never felt safe nor was the mail. (I didn't feel safe for the mail too!)

So today the Down stairs neighbors kid rang my door bell than handed my mail to me.
(not cool.)
So very soon in going to have a talk with the down stairs neighbor.

Jeff's college $$$$ hasn't come yet not my federal taxes either.
Not cool.

Ok while walking java, I saw the neighbor (finally) yesterday in her car.
I politely let her know what her DD did.
& I did tell her "I think your kid was just trying to be 'nice'."
Neighbor was telling me "(her) DD has been getting in trouble lately."
Me: "oh sorry."
:/
Me: "have a good day."
Still feel like :/

I don't get any of JOhnny's college money, it goes right to the school. So I am not sure what you are talking about there.

Yes, you need to let your neighbor know that it's not okay. Personally I would have told the little boy something along the lines of "why thank you, that is so kind of you... but the law says you can't go in mailboxes other than your own, so please let me get my mail."

My neighbors are always getting some of my mail. Our mail people are not so great. Maybe the mail was put in their box instead of yours....

I'd talk to mail person, then landlord about locked mailbox. I think diverting mail is a federal offense. Talk to your postmaster, too. This is 'not cool'.
