And out they come

The boys are coming out of daycare. Spending $1000/month on daycare isn't financially feasible anymore.

Now, I've got to figure out a plan to keep them entertained/busy so I can work effectively.

Wednesdays we would go to the local play place. It's $10/kid but totally worth it.

I'm going to take Nathanael's old pc and get a new monitor so I can find some educational programs to help Nadir get ready for kindergarten.

I also found a site where I can create words in those traceable broken lines so he can practice writing his name.

Nadir will be going to camp this year with Naiya. It's not a full day but there is busing and he'll get to go in the pool daily.

Any other ideas?

One of the owners was there today when I picked up the boys. She told me that she would speak to her husband to see what they could do for me. She said that Nadir couldn't leave because he needed the education to get ready for kindergarten, lol.

I guess we'll see what happens when I drop them off on Friday.

Have them find dad. When doing daycare I'd make breakfast and then they'd have free time. Then they would have work to do. Color, write letters or numbers. Then it's computer time. Lunch. Then nap. After that they would get more free time. Then pick up other kids at school. Come back have snack. Homework for the older kids and the younger ones would do puzzles or read a book to themselves.

Mothers helper? More of a preschool setting not so much day care? At least half the day to work?

Could you get a babysitter for a few hours during your best work time?

I would look into a mother's helper. Recruit DH to help care for his sons!

For some reason I can't edit my post via mobile.

They're letting the boys go free of charge for the foreseeable future. I'm in shock.
