I think we are! If his leave goes as planned, I should ovulate while he's home so *fingers crossed*.   Anyone else plan on trying on R & R leave?

Good Luck to you and dh. Both of my babies are products of welcome home. Lol

Um... DH has until Friday to give me his answer on that, either we TTC during R and R, or we wait until his next deployment R and R. This way, he will be home for the birth and get probably six months minimum with the baby. But I am birth controll, so he has to decide for sure before it is time for me to start next month's cycle on Sunday (my body doesn't handle on and off very well, so since I missed last month because of a refill issue, I either stay off til R and R is over and see if I get preggers, or I go back on and stay on)

I got pregnant with my son right off the BC pill. I ovulated two weeks later and the rest is history.

My oldest son is a R&R baby!  We just got lucky.  We weren't actively trying, but we weren't preventing it either and surprise, got pregnant.  Our second is due any day now and DH will be home on his R&R soon so hopefully he makes it in time.  With our oldest, he got home 2.5 weeks before he was born.  Good timing too since his tour was extended 3 months.

My body is so messed up and doesn't handle a lot of stuff very well, so I don't want to take a chance on my BC still messing it up. I want to give my body time to "flush" itself and readjust to being off the pill for a couple months before DH comes home if we are going to try for a baby.
