Hey I have a goal to loose well alot of weight this year! I want to loose 45lbs by March! Which will get me in the 190s! LOL! Then I want to be able to run a 1/2 marathon by June! So to do this I have a Jym membership to Gym X and a lot of motivation!
On another note...when my hubby left for Iraq the first time I weighed around 300lbs...I know very shameful! but I lost around 100lbs in a year then gained 40 of it when he got back. Grrr.. I did that b/c this show inspired me...this show is called the Biggest Looser! I swear it did! No lie! My Dr was amazed! I even managed to get off my cholesteral meds and all! None the less the new season started and its on every Tuesday on NBC...if ya'll want to check it out! I have before and after shots of me if ya'll dont belive me...one is the day he left...the other is a few days before he got back!

Wow this is the coolest site, so many great great resources, well I am supposed to weigh 120 by my height and weight, but I weigh 195, after my husband left with the military the first time I got very depressed and gained a ton of weight, in fact I now weigh 195, I am a very small person and I hate my body, I need to loose this weight, and I am realistic if I could get down to like 155 before August I would be happy, I just want to feel good about myself and look good before my dh gets home, any ideas would be great and any and all help woukd be awesome to, also I am willing to help anyone that needs it as well, I have a membership to weight watchers, but I seem stuck at 195 ahhhhh anyways any help would be great and I will help anyone I can, Thanks for letting me vent, and lets kick weight loss booty gals!!

Hi I am new to this site. I am very into health and exercising. More than a year ago I started eating clean. What is eating clean? Basically you eat meat, veggies and fruit and leave out the processed foods. What an amazing change in me. I have dropped two dress sizes. The books I follow are by Tosca Reno and the are called The Eat Clean Diet. There is also a magazine called Clean Eating. I would highly recommend them. I also work out with weights. Don't be afraid of weights, you won't bulk up. The weights help you lose more fat and tone muscle. I love lifting. I do minimal cardio at least 3 times a week for 30 minutes. Anyway take a look and try it. I am starting a new diet mainly for my son due to allergies but we are getting off wheat, all forms of sugar and dairy. I will introduce them slowly and then see what he may be allergic to. Wish me luck.

You know what...I had the same problem cept I am near 5'8 and I am supposed to weigh around 175! The only thing that got me motivated and not depressed is the biggest looser. I figure if somone 475lbs can get on that tredmill everyday then so can I! I lost almost 100lbs! I worked my butt off! I would not recommend any diet! I just eat how you are normally supposed to eat. Slow down when you eat. Drink a glass of water before you eat curves your appetite. Then you just go by the food pyramid cept when you diet you switch the grins for your veggies! To easy! Also switch your white foods for whole grains... ie instead of eating bleached white pasta eat whole wheat pasta...I know my husband and I do and we love it. Since posting this last post I have lost 4lbs already! Its about a lifestyle change...and I know I am preaching to the choir...b/c I gained 40 of it back...but the hubby came back and wanted to eat out and all the old habits came back. Now I am changing him. He has no choice! LOL! My tip is not to diet but to just eat healthy! I eat usually 1400 calories a day and burn over 2000. So...you need to see a defeciancy but you also need fuel for your body and a good nights rest!
WATCH THE BIGGEST LOOSER TOO!! LOTS OF GREAT TIPS!!
