Here is a place that you can track what you have done to accomplish your goals for each day.  You can track what you have eaten, the exercise that you have done, or anything that pertains to your goals.

Even if your goal isn't to lose weight, feel free to share the things you are doing to live a healthier lifestyle.  If you just want to exercise more, stop drinking coffee, or break the smoking habit, we all need support.  So join in!

I went through my fridge and pantry on Sunday and threw away all the junk food. I keep a measuring cup handy to measure my portions. We stopped buying soda since we know you can gain weight will all the sugar. I'm also planning to get a threadmill soon so I can walk/run at home (since I have a LO).

Just wondering....is it even safe to eat 590 calories a day??  I did a calorie intake questionnaire thing and it told me to eat 1500 a day to lose weight.  I thought if you don't eat enough your body will hold onto any fat you have and you wouldn't lose....?

I figured someone would wonder.  I have had weight loss surgery and don't consume much at all.  But, I have to take a ton of supplements and stuff to make up for it.  :)

I went to spark people, they referred me to baby fit *I'm breastfeeding* so I keep track of what I eat and the calorie intake, its awesome...  They also gave me the amount of calories I could consume a day considering the breastfeeding fact...  Here's my report for today...  So far during this week I have gone over the 2200 limit and it was 2240 calories, other than that I try not to go over 1900 calories.

Ok, I am not going to be tracking calories anymore.  My household is moving to a very frugal grocery menu and everything will be made from scratch.  I will now be eating what the kids eat.  I don't feel like inserting all the foods into some diet software to determine the calories.  I don't eat much anyway, so that part doesn't matter too much.

Breakfast 9:30 AM
Part of a biscuit with apple butter, scrambled eggs, bacon, orange juice, hot tea

Lunch 1:30PM
Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Muffin

Dinner 7:00 PM
Ramen noodles w/ carrots, green beans, and onions, FF milk

that sounds like a good idea...the measuring cup. My husband piles on food and eats a second plate, which causes me to want to eat more as well. I drink a lot of water everyday like maybe 14 glasses (beer mug type) a day. I'm thinking of cutting out spaghetti altogether (bad for my uc) and since i can't run in the cold, maybe a short brisk walk will help.

  • NO THIS IS NOT SAFE AT ALL ! i WAS LOOKING AT YOUR BREAKFAST AND YOU NEED TO HAVE A HEARTY HEALTHY ONE TO BE HEALTHY AND CONTROL ANY WEIGHT. AND HEALTHY SNACKING THROUGHOUT THE DAY IS A MAJORE IMPORTANCE. IF YOU DON'T CONSUME ENOUGH NUTRIENTS/CALORIES YOUR BODY WILL PRODUCE MORE UNHEARTY FAT AND ITS JUST NOT GOOD FOR YOU..ALSO YOU CAN END UP ANOREXIC THIS WAY. TRUST ME ON THIS. MY DIET FOR A FEW MONTHS CONSISTED OF UNDER 500 CALORIES A DAY. iNSTEAD MAKE YOURSELF OATMEAL WITH A TEASPOON OF EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL AND A SIDE OF FRUIT, A CUP OF GREEN TEA (I DRINK BLACK COFFEE) AND BY 10AM HAVE A SNACK OF MAYBE A YOGURT OR SOME NUTS (HANDFUL) AND EAT A SALAD FOR LUNCH..ETC..AM I WRITING TOO MUCH??
