I was standing in line to mail a care package to DH and I notice the girl in front of me was wearing a "Support the Troops" shirt, but it was different than any I had ever seen before. When she turned around I got a better view of what all it said: "bring 'em home... bring the fight here" I was a little shocked. I've seen the shirts that said "fight them here, fight them there" but never one that was saying to bring the fight here. I wanted to ask her what it meant, but I was a little worried about what the answer would be, lol! Has anyone seen this shirt? And does it have some meaning other than to really bring the war here? Maybe it is a political statement...
I've never seen it either. That is really different. I don't know what it means.

Not sure what that means.

It was an off-base post office. I don't think it was sarcasm. It looked more like a "fighting" type shirt. I just wonder if it was a political statement (like let's fight the government) or if it was really to bring the fight here... Maybe whoever made the shirt thinks it would be over sooner? I don't know. But I would never wish for it to be here, regardless. I mean, I don't know why anyone wants a "fight" at all, but here?? With our kids?? No thanks.
Quoting angelm2005:Im thinking that it means if you bring the troops home, its gonna bring the war (fight) to the states. Im hoping it was sarcasm on the shirt. Was she at a military postal office? If so, I dont see someone wearing a kind of negative shirt like that on a base.
