I am the type of person that will box dinner once a while for a quick meal or buy it once and make my own meal version of it
How moms out use box dinners and what is your taken n them. to me they just to seem to taste that great to me and was needing new ideas on what to have for dinner
thanks
The only things we use from a box are mac n cheese for lunch and rice mixes (when I want something other than plain jasmine rice).
We try to stick to foods that have been processed as little as possible. I cook and bake most of our food from scratch. After 4 years of not eating foods like Hamburger Helper and the like, we can't really stomach them anymore - it tastes fake and salty once you get used to real foods.
i use them because im on a strict budget while my SO is away..but when he is here i cook most of the food....i really dnt like them just because my mom always use to make them and it just grosses me out....but when my SO is back ill be putting us all on a diet of more fresh foods... especially fruits and vegis....
Its not a nightly thing with us, espeically when hubby is home. For one, it takes at least 2 to feed everyone and two, they aren't very healthy. I will fix one maybe once a week when he's gone though...just to take a break from cooking a huge meal every night or if I just need something quick.
Quoting tangleballlover:I don't use them.
I have in the past, but I'm trying to make more homemade meals and from scratch meals :)
I rarely use them because, use to when in school, because they just have too much sodium. I try to make more things at home, and discover new things to make from recipe sites.
What exactly are you talking about...... Like, the whole meal? I may buy boxed mac&cheese, or rice, etc.... I try not to used boxed stuff, but sometimes it happens. Now that hubby is home and I finally have someone to cook for I really want to try some new stuff, minus the boxed meals.
