AER loan

How hard is it to get one of these?  We are finding out how much it will cost to get our van fixed today.  (it is at the dealership we bought it from, they said they may be able to help) We hae never used an aer loan before, hubby has been in the Army for 7 years and never  used this before.

I have no idea, we've never even looked into using it.  I'm sure someone on here will be able to help.

 ur at sill right? i dont know if its all of sill or just my dh's unit but to get an aer loan (at least for dh and others in his unit) u have to go throgh finannce classes which is like 1 class that last like an hour or 2 nothing big we had to do it at out last base too. but otherwise its not that hard u just need a statement from the dealership stating the exact cost uh taxes and all then go to aer with an les (or if u need to they can print one for you) or i should say ur dh needs to and he will have to fill out paperwork stateing all your bills including any allotments. now here is a question is yoru van your only vehicle? i ask this becuase they will only do it if its your only vehicle if you have more than one car and the other car is working they wont help u

I asked my husband about that and he said it should not be an issue, we do have another vehicle, but since I go to school full time and I have class at 8 am, that is when his formation is, I still have to drop the kids off at the sitters, so he said it should get approved.

It's usually not too hard. We had one before.  It's great for when you're in a situation like that since there's no interest on it.
