I am a huge sap so when hubby deploys I am going to make a deployment cd. You know, the songs that make me cry and think of him and everything for those days where I feel like crying and eatin ice cream in my pjs lol. Do you do this? What songs do you have?

Grrrr....I can't find it now. It was a country song though.

Some songs I like are Come Home by OneRepublic and I miss you by Incubus

I don't do that, but there are tons of songs out there.

heck yeah!!!  Well - i usually pull out my old CDs and paint... ice cream blows up my stomache!  LOL.  Chapman, Indigo Girls *snicker*, and 10,000 Maniacs/Natlie Merchant, Sara ... basically live it up in a 90's oblivion and feel sorry for myself.

I use to play a song called "sandbox girl" by Domestic Problems over and over and over again because it reminded me of us.  i don't make a CD but I listen to my (mountain girl music) as my DH puts it.  Although, we went head to head with depressing songs on a John Mayer vs. Tracy Chapmen show down.    but I regress... (like always)

I hate letters from home because it makes me sob...  even that damn Christmas song with santa and the lonely soldier... I even cry to the song that goes... "statue of liberty shaking her fist... blah blah blah"...
