Hey,

Is it possible to join the army in a different state than which you live in?

Thanks! =)

My husband is National Guard and they will switch you to another state to suit your job needs, if you're willing.

The army usually stations you at a base, but I'm not certain about JOINING in another state.

I lived in AZ but enlisted in Missouri. I do not think it matters.

We enlisted in Mo, live in AL. We have to drive back to MO soon for swearing in active duty.

Yeah, I don't think it matters b/c it's a national organization and doesn't differ state to state. Good luck!!

i only think it matters is when you are still in hs but i could be wrong. i know dh said that his company couldnt touch ANYONE in another persons company area until they were a grad and then they could go after whoever.
