How do you feel about people who won't stand for the Pledge of Allegiance?

Their right?  Or does it make you see red?

it's their right. Just as long as they are not rude and they sit quietly, idk.

love*

If they're not standing up because of religion, or whatever their reason is..as long as they are respectful about it, i don't mind, But if i see a careless/disrespectful attitude like in the pic above, i would probably see red.

It is their right. I even dislike the little cartoon and its implications. I mean, I get it. If you want the rights of America, you *should* be willing to stand and make the pledge. But, it is not required. And bringing in an injured Marine that protected that right is a little... slap in the face to those rights he fought for.

It's their choice. In my son's class if they don't want to say the Pledge of Allegiance or the Pledge to the Texas Flag, they just sit quietly until it's over.

It is someone's right to choose not to stand.

You have a right to have a feeling toward them not wanting to stand and say an oath to an item just like they have a right to not stand and say that oath to that item.  Personally, I don't see how people don't get that pledging or oathing an item is similar to a golden cow.

Really?  There's a huge difference...

The first time I say my 6 year old daughter stands up in school and did the Pledge I was like WTF. There is no choice in not doing it. They get drilled to to that. Thats how I felt. And I still hate seeing them getting up for that, but I haven't told that anyone . That's just my opinion. I do stand up for the pledge or the national Anthem or however that called , but that's about it. I am german by the way, and I never had to do stand up in school and pledge to something. So it is very odd to  me.

it doesn't bother me, I'm not big into it myself.  My daughters school doesn't even do it.   I think there are more productive ways to support our country
