I probably had a family party for my oldest 2 since we still lived near family then. The younger probably just got a cake. I'm not into big parties for kids especially not babies. Those parties are for the parents, the baby won't even remember.

Nope. Big parties are for years 1, 5, 10, 13, 16, 18 and 21.

The 2nd b-day party is usually a cake and a family trip to Chuck E Cheese, or something similar.

And the the 5th birthday is not a super huge deal. They will just get a tiny extra since they will be starting Kindergarten.

We just had a party with our close friends & my parents flew out to celebrate with us! It was a Toy Story theme!!! It was a lot of fun! We just had my son's first birthday & now are planning for my daughter's 3rd birthday in June!
