I am full of cheesy lovey dovey thoughts today. Tell me your love story, I am a sucker for them! (I will settle for funny stories too).

My husband and I slept together the first night we met. We sorta-kinda-but-not-really met online, and I put off meeting him in person for a few weeks. When the time finally came, I had a nasty, nasty cold. I tried to postpone, he said he didn't care. We had dinner at my cousin's house, sat down to watch Star Troopers, and I fell asleep on his lap... I guess he got tired or bored, because he fell asleep, too. Oopsies.

He also told me he loved me that night. He said it was okay that I was not "there" yet, but he knew that I would be one day. Arrogant asshat. He knew me too well even then.

DH admitted to breaking a bunch of things on his Stryker so I would go and fix them so e could talk to me. He did this not knowing that I was not a assigned to his truck for maintenance and always makes fun of me saying I ignored him, or was to lazy to do my job. Lol, I never even saw the work orders.

I skipped a class and went to the other lunch in high school (they had a 2 lunch system).  My friend knew one of his friends and we hung out.  Next semester we had the same lunch and we became friends.

He started dating another one of my friends and I was naughty.  I broke them up, then we started dating.  Got married before he left for basic out of high school...

I hate Valentine's Day.  I don't remember my dh ever doing anything nice for me on V-day.  I do remember what my son's father did for me my junior year (his senior year) in HS though.

He's a keeper. Anyone who is that sweet on a first day (especially when you're sick) is awesome sauce.

Dh and I tend to do homemade things, or just ignore it lol. When I was younger and super feminist pugs, I was super anti vday lol.

I might not be so bitter if my husband actually got me anything.
