Anyone in here have a child that gets migraines? If so, how do you treat it?I know what the trigger is, but there is no way to avoid the trigger.
As long as we catch my son's as soon as he feels them coming then Ibuprofen will usually head them off. Lack of sleep and sugar seem to triggers for mine so I make sure he is well rested and if I know that he is going to be around a lot of sugar (like today) then I remind him what happens and make sure he knows to tell me as soon as he feels the slightest twinge of a migraine coming.
I know someone that has a 9yo with migraines. I think they sometimes they get pretty severe. She is on FB if you want me to send you her name. You could probably send her a message if you do not get the info you need here :)

Thanks! Im just kinda seeing options right now. Im pretty sure its anxiety related because the last time he had them was right before and when dh deployed.

She also gets headaches due to allergies and wearing/not wearing her glasses.
I feel so bad for her, because she seems to get a headache or a migraine every day, I'm just glad that her worst episodes are few and far between.
