any one children lonely have no friends here in N Las Vegas or Nellis AFB or surrounding area's? My DD is very lonely and becoming depressed and feeling isolated, not sure what to do any more for her, her best friend for 3 years finally moved away in October and it has made my daughter emotionally lonely. She will be 12 in May and in 6th grade.

Could she participate in an after school activity like a sports team? She should find an activity that other kids are doing after school and join. I know here we have ball teams of every kind, classes to learn all kinds of hobbies, and so on. She will make new friends and have a great time.
My dd is in 8th grade, but we are in Wa. I would suggest getting her involved in some afterschool activities. My dd plays school soccer, basketball or track depending on the season. My 11 yo son and 9 yo dd both play rec soccer and do MMA. Just get her out there.
