Here's some stuff I found

http://www.operationmilitarykids.org/public/heropacks.aspx

http://weservetoo.com/

Also contact or go to militaryonesource.com 1-800-342-9647 they have TONS of stuff for deployments and kids (and stuff in general, I do my taxes with them each year)

Have your DH look into the USO's United Through Reading program. He reads a book over there and your kiddo will get the book and a DVD of daddy reading it. My girls got one a month while DH was deployed and they LOVED it. It helped them so much.

There's also a program that sends a teddy bear to kids with deployed parents but the name escapes me. I'll message one of my friends for it and get back to you once I get home from taking my Spawn to schoool.  :)

Oh another thing my husband did for all 3 of us, He bought us each a bear over there and had one of the pilots fly it over Afghanistan so we got our bear with it's certificate and a picture of the plane that flew it. It was really cool too. Of course my youngest totally jacked my bear stating her's needed a friend... LOL.

well, if you can't find it, you can always do something like it.

Can he record himself reading her a book? my kids love that.
