and I'm nervous as hell. He applied for two jobs, one medical, one weather. He's hoping to get medical. The hurry up and wait military game sucks because I've become a planner. I want to plan plan plan! With one job, we can't follow him to training. With the other we can. Do I go home and wait? Do I stay here at our current base? Etc etc. I need to know these things! lol He's also going to try for a BOP to a base close to our families, so even after we find out his job, things are still up in the air. Argh! lol

That's so true! I never used to be a planner. I used to be extremely spur of the moment. "Hey, I've got $500 in my account. I'm going to go on a road trip somewhere" and go! Go figure, I become a planner after I marry a military man lol

You can't plan and be an Af wife! Lol...I am exactly like you. It makes me crazy! 28 yrs of this & I haven't learned yet. Just go with it. You will have your answer soon enough. My husband goes on terminal leave in 2months. He doesn't have a job yet. Try being a planner, and plan for the rest of your life, when you don't know where you are going! Lol
