Bikini Wax?

How long do you NOT shave before you go?
How often do you need to get waxed after you start?
Are there better forms of waxing?
I am starting to think about swim season. I have been shaving bc I have been taking my daughter to swim lessons. I have been getting horrible red embarrassing spots-bumps. I lived in Hawaii for 3 years and shaved daily for 3 yrs straight...nothing like this.

Have you thought about laser hair removal? Way worth the $$ in the long run!

I had to grow it out a little when i got waxed. I did it once in HI and never will again! It was expensive and hurt so bad I vowed never again...

I had a Brazilian wax done when dh graduated from bmt. It wasn't that bad. I was red and sore for a few days after. I would wait about 3 weeks of not shaving before you go. They say to get waxed every 4 to 6 weeks. I just did the normal wax. I liked it when i got it done but i haven't done it since

I'm no help either...the thought of someone ripping wax strips off my downstairs region scares me half to death.

I've been wondering the same thing but I'm scared to do it lol. My sister went and they did 1 strip and had to stop because the hair wasn't long enough. She never went back. Any suggestions on getting rid of those red bumps? That kinda ruins the effect lol

The hair is supposed to be 1/4" long, so you how ever long it takes for it to grow... And you wax accordingly after.

See if you can find a salon that does the Nufree Finipil waxing.  It hurts a lot less and I haven't had any problems afterwards with that system.
