question for those whose spouses (Vets) or vets themselves who have used their 9/11 GI Bill
how does the BAH work? do you just get the money for it, etc. I am use to the old GI bill when you were just given the extra money

I get the money every 1st of the month and a book stipend every semester on the 1st also. I got all mine today actually because I get paid early with USAA.
If you're the vet it doesn't matter your husbands status, it's your GI bill so you get your BAH for going to school.

I dont k.kw. I need to get on it after we pcs. I've heard differed things about the BAH you get from it. Some say to don't get if your married to an active duty service member, some say you can. I don't know. I hope you can, that would be freaking awesome when I start school.
E-5 w/dep for everyone
