Less carbs. Middle fat is carb and sugar fat. Eat a diet heavy in whole grains (brown rice, etc), vegetables, and lean proteins. Avoid excessive fruits, though some are okay. Don't eat refined flour or sugar, or "junk" foods like white bread, white pastas, etc. Don't eat manufactured/white/"fake" sweeteners at all, if you can help it. Also avoid dairy, as it has a lot of sugars and such in it that our bodies don't always process correctly and often store as fat.
