Couple weeks. But he usually knew it was comming so he would give me the heads up.
The longest we ever had to go was about 5 days I think, and that was when something happened and they did the whole "blackout" thing so families could be contacted. Through both of DH's deployments, he never had any missions that lasted longer than 12 hours, so I usually got to talk to him every day.

Month and a half, and I only usually get to talk to him 4 days out of a six month deployment.
The normal is a couple of weeks, but he is subs so that week is just for emails. Otherwise it's always a good month to actually talk.

I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I lock every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there picking the locks, they are always locking three.
just a day or two. he works on computers as comm so naturally he is always by a computer and shoots me an email even just a couple words if he gets the chance
