You need to brace yourself for the long road to come. As he develops his military career, you need to Develop your individual self. Whether it be your Career, schooling, personal goals, etc.
Well by the time he leaves our son with b 1 so I hope he'll keep me busy. Any more advice?
Enjoy the time you have now, while you have it. And Keep busy once he leaves.
I'm going to be doing the same thing after I get married. I am excited, and I believe your soon to be dh is too. Yes, you will be away from him at times, but just think that he is making the life your family deserves for you and your child. I hope things work out. It will get better as you go. You will get used to the fact of him being gone, and then when he comes home you will have missed him so much you will be happy to see him for however long he will be home.
If you can take a college course, or a seminar, online course, or something offered at a local library, chamber of commerce, etc~ it would give you an opportunity to develop your personal goals and it would help the time pass by. Just a suggestion.
