Longtime lurker here:) Anyways, this is my first posting & wanted to hear others' take on the whole sequestration issue--personally, I'm really nervous of troops getting pink slips due to Congress inability to compromise. Is this hype or a real possibility. Thoughts.????

Who knows, people get RIF'd all the time. Everyyone in Congress screams to cut the defense budget, as long as it doesn't mean cutting installations in *their* state. I think Congress would throw the military under the bus in a heartbeat, if it meant they get to stay in office and keep their cushy job.
