We are on last minute leave because of my FIL. He has been fighting stage 4 brain cancer for 2 years and things are getting worse. Basically we came so dh can say his goodbyes. I am so happy that dh is able to do this and I have no problem watching the kids (2yr old and 4 mo old) while dh is with his dad all day. I do have a hard time with the fact that the family thinks I am a baby sitter. I am on day 3 of also watching the great aunt with recent brain injury and her husband who has Alzhiemers (sp? Damn phone) as well as our kids so everyone here can have a break. I really do not feel qualified for all this! I am such a push over since I want to please my dh's family. Dh actually said something to his family but now he is stuck watching his dad and uncle (gout attack or something) and me with the great aunt, uncle and kids. I guess we both learned our lessons on being pushovers :/ Next time they ask me to watch anyone I'm putting on my big girl panties and saying NO! Thanks for listening to my vent...
