Oregon is full of crazy hippies, and the largest concentration of the extreme ones is Ashland :P we lived in Corvallis for 3 years, loved it but not the most military friendly state lol.

My BIL was a recruiter for the Navy down there until just this past week. (Transferredto a different office.) He said it's really bad that way. My mom also grew up in Ashland. Crazy, crazy hippy town. I spent my summers there growing up.
