my hubby went to boot camp today:/

It's a bittersweet as you all know. What I wasn't expecting was being told by my grandmother after he left that I need to be more interesting...how do I do that?

Tell your grandma thanks and then shove that out of your mind. Keep yourself busy! It's hard, mama, but you'll get through.

I think by being more "interesting", she means live your life, don't sit and wait on him to call or come home before you start doing things.

Just do you and the time will fly by!! Remember to ALWAYS keep your ringer ON and NEAR. They only get a couple of calls! AND, write write write! Do NOT send nude pictures! DI's have field days with em!! lol. But ENJOY YOURSELF and always be who you are with him, to him. :) He's gonna love you so so much more when he's done! lol!

I went through this years ago and remember how hard it was.   You look young in youyr picture.  I was 18 and my baby was 6mo when  my DH went to boot.  People say the dangdest things.  Ask Grandma how you could do what she said.
