I'd stay in bed - don't things happen in 3's?
Hope you recover quickly...

Take it easy! Don't try and do everything, take your little ones through the drive thru. I have three under five, and when they are strapped in the car its nice! Lol

I injured my ankle and damaged all the tendons, I know your pain and yup all thy can really do is give you crutches and maybe a splint. I was on crutches about 2 weeks then I could walk but it was about 6 months before I could be any kind of jogging again and years before I could run without pain. The slighted twist was excruciating for a long time

Yeah.... sounds like a crappy week but honestly there isn't anything else the ER can do for you outside of a boot, crutches, pain meds, and tell you to follow up with your Dr.

I'm sorry for what you're going through, but you aren't actually crippled. I could be a little OSMW about this, but it is a slight peeve to know double amputees who don't refer to themselves as crippled and hear able-bodied who do.

Sorry! I know the feeling. I broke both ankels two years ago and I had three under 5. I suggest a nice long bubble bath, a good book and then bed! Don't push your luck!
