During a deployment do you ladies ever feel like the nights when you are down & out come in waves?

I could feel great and be happy and then *BOOM* you are just down! But then you are fine the next day (or the day after the next day because you had one too many glasses of wine or beer whatever you drink)! Lol

That's how i feel... I dunno! Just wanted to ask! :D

Yep. Our boy's are taking swim classes and the oldest is best in his class, husband is a swimmer, and I feel so down that he can't be here to see how awesome our son is doing. It stinks.

It's like, I just want to be sad for a little, and then i am fine! But it happens every few weeks where I het really sad, and just want to cry over everything! Ugh!

Tomorrow will be better, i will be busy tomorrow :)

Yep that happened to me too. I remember driving home from post and I seen the freedom riders and a bus and broke down.

Yep. Emotional ebbs and flows are definatley a part of military wifedom.

Night time is what gets to me. Having my little one in bed with me and reading a good book helps a little.

Yup, but for me it starts when I find out for sure that he is deploying or going TDY.  Sucks ass for sure.
