My older children do this as well. I think it's normal!

My daughter was like this as well. Rich came home and she was so happy to see him, but she was a little extra mommy clingy because she wasn't used to having him around.
Its pretty normal from what I hear.

My children always did that after daddy's deployments. It won't take long it's the initial shock that they are like whoa! then as soon as he reenters their everyday life they should be okay.

It's weird, my daughter's children went through the exact thing when her DH came home from deployment and I was just explaining her that the other day.

It's normal. My kids don't do it, but they're traitors.

Dad comes home and they're like 'mom? mom who?' turds.

My husband is really hard on my kids when it comes to correcting.I hate it.but idk if that's why my daughter acts that way.I mean she runs up and hugs him and seems happy but then she sticks to me like glue.about a week goes by and she's used to him again.

No, It's probably just the disruption of her routine. It's been mommy and her for x months, then, bam, dad walks in. She's not used to him being around after being gone so ling, so she clings to you at first to scope him out from the safety of your presence before she decides, ok, he's cool.

My son is the same way. He clings to me when he sees dad, before deciding to accept him. Don't worry, It's normal.
