Does it cover dermatology? Like acne issues or psoriasis.

You should be able to get a referal to a dermatoloist. I think you have to to through your pcm first.

It does. You just have to get a referral from your PCM first.

You should be able to just go. Just find a dermatologist that takes tricare.

of, course, why would it not? the only thing different with standard is you DO NOT have to have a referral to see a specialist.

I just went to the dermatologist last month- called the office asked if there were accepting new patients, asked if they accepted tricare standard and then made an appointment.

then I needed I biopsy and they did not need to wait for a referral - they just did it. entire thing cost me 45.00

I've only used the medical benefit once. I didn't know, I rarely see a doctor.
