Love worth fighting for

I love my husband more then words can explain. I have a Christ like love for him, but he is not my God. He told me in July he wanted a divorce, but has yet to do anything. We have been married for six and a half years and I'm not willing to give it all up what would you do?

It's a love for our husbands that God called us to. It can be found in Ephesians 5:22-33

We are going through counseling now. I feel he wants it, but at times I feel he doesn't. Jesus Christ is my God NOT my husband. If he want to end it why is he not doing it himself is my question?

Um, why not ask him and not strangers on the Internet?

Based on the verses you posted, you're submissive.  That's what you mean by Christ-like love?

I don't know what you can do at this point other than continue with counseling.  You can't force someone to want to stay in a relationship with you.

And only he can answer why he hasn't taken the steps to end the marriage if that's what he wants.

Only your husband can answer that for you.  If you're in counseling, then you're doing what you can.  Keep going and hopefully you'll get your answer either way.  I assume since you are in counseling there have been issues brought up. Just keep working on those and doing all you can.  If he doesn't want to put in the effort, then he isn't worth staying with.
